London University has recently released research findings on Baby Care study. The university researchers have interviewed totally 4800 working mothers, and were divided into two groups based on who will take care of their newborn baby.




The first group of them is having their babies taken care of by their own grandparents, while the second group mothers are sending their babies to baby centers, pre-school centers or designated nannies.

All interviewee mothers have been interviewed when their babies are 9 months old, and keep on the raising habits for their babies. Until the babies are 3 years old, the research teams again interviewed the mothers of their baby’s behaviors, learning and communication skills, and then analyzed the findings.

The findings have it that, at the year of three, when talking about baby’s ability to differentiate and compare colors, alphabets, numbers, sizes and shapes, the second group babies always out-win the first group who are taken cared by their grandparents.

For vocabulary, words and phrases, the first group babies are able to develop better language skills. However, they are less ready to accept official education and environment.
